Howdy!

Welcome to my ePortfolio, where I invite you to step into the heart of my journey—a journey shaped by servant leadership, deep faith, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. My name is Chris Reighley, and through every challenge, every crisis, and every victory, I have learned that true leadership begins with a simple but profound call: to serve. Whether leading disaster relief efforts in the chaos of Hurricane Harvey or developing strategic solutions for organizations, I have experienced firsthand the transformative power of empathy, unity, and purpose.

This website or portfolio is an extension of my journey, built to reflect the values that guide my life and work. Shoe Leather Gospel is at the heart of this mission, dedicated to addressing biblical illiteracy and fostering deeper discipleship. For example, the Legal section is designed to maintain transparency, with ‘we’ referring to my ministry team and collaborators. Every part of this portfolio is crafted to align with my commitment to serve others through faith, leadership, and a heart for discipleship.

This portfolio is more than a collection of accomplishments; it’s a reflection of my passion for public service, and it’s part of my application for the Medal of Excellence at The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M. This distinction honors leaders who not only strive for excellence but also embody the values of servant leadership and resilience. For me, this recognition is about far more than personal success—it’s about the lives impacted, the hope restored, and the teams united in moments of crisis and growth.

Here, you’ll find stories of teamwork in the face of devastation, strategic planning that reshaped organizations, and reflections that reveal the heart of what it truly means to lead with purpose. But more than anything, you’ll see that leadership is not just about results—it’s about people. It’s about relationships built on trust, the selfless pursuit of a mission larger than yourself, and the legacy of hope you leave behind. I believe that when we come together, united by faith, family, and a shared vision, we can rise above any challenge and make a lasting impact.

As George H.W. Bush once said,

“Any definition of a successful life must include service to others.”

This belief has been the guiding light throughout my life’s journey, and it continues to drive my work today. I invite you to explore this journey with me—one built on service, shaped by resilience and fueled by a mission to make the world a better place.

Let’s connect and see how we can carry this mission forward together. Feel free to reach out to me or connect on LinkedIn.
